The Space:
Sunset Peak Cottage is a modern rustic cabin perched on the side of the mountain tucked away in a hemlock forest in the quaint mountain neighborhood, River Bend. Awaken to the sounds of birds calling and the distant rushing water of the Ellijay River in the valley below. Prop open the bedroom French doors and enjoy the private screened porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine as the sun peaks through the treetops.

The perfect place to disconnect so you can reconnect!

Relax in the hot tub on the upper deck, curl up with a book on the lower deck, or binge-watch your favorite movie in the cozy living room in front of the fireplace. If adventure is in your blood, you’ll love the opportunity to hike, trout fish, kayak, tube, horseback ride, zip-line and so much more. If you’re not in the mood to cook in our fully stocked kitchen, head into Blue Ridge or Ellijay to enjoy one of our fabulous restaurants or to one of the numerous wineries to enjoy a glass of wine, a food truck, and live music. No matter your vacation style, Sunset Peak Cottage is the perfect place to escape and connect with your loved one!

The ride up was a bit more than expected it’s about 8-10 mins up a narrow gravel dirt road it was a bit bumpy at first but it was smoothed out and some re graveling redone and that made it 10xs better to travel up and down but you definitely get that mountain experience, nothing that will keep me from coming back. My children enjoyed it and did not want to leave. We loved it! Thank you!”

**BEDROOMS**
Bedroom 1 features a comfortable King-sized bed, equipped with a Smart Roku TV for entertainment, along with a dedicated workspace for productivity. Additionally, French doors open onto a screened porch, providing a serene and private retreat. In Bedroom 2, guests will find a cozy Queen-sized bed accompanied by another Smart TV, ensuring relaxation and convenience during their stay.

Our accommodation boasts a range of amenities to enhance guest comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy blackout curtains for a restful night's sleep, along with a selection of pillows, linens, and sheets provided. Each bedroom is equipped with closets featuring hangers and shelves for organized storage. The primary bedroom also includes a dresser for additional convenience. Furthermore, guests have access to a washer and dryer conveniently located in the secondary bedroom, along with starter supplies of Tide pods and dryer sheets for added convenience.

**BATHROOM**
For added comfort and convenience, our accommodations are stocked with Terre Pure Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash, ensuring a refreshing experience during your stay. Additionally, a starter supply of toilet paper is provided for your convenience. Plush towels and a hair dryer are also included for your comfort and grooming needs. To enhance safety and cleanliness, a bath mat is provided to ensure a dry and slip-free environment after showering.

**LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN**
Our living space features a comfortable sectional sofa with a chaise, perfect for relaxation and unwinding. Guests can enjoy entertainment on the Smart Roku TV, while the cozy fireplace adds warmth and ambiance to the atmosphere. It's important to note that the fireplace is equipped with a gas insert, and no items should be placed inside it for safety reasons. Additionally, throw blankets are provided for added comfort during your stay.

Our meticulously designed kitchen is equipped with premium stainless steel appliances and elegant granite countertops, offering an optimal environment for culinary pursuits of any kind. Whether you're indulging in a leisurely breakfast, grabbing a quick bite, or preparing ingredients for outdoor grilling, our kitchen is thoughtfully furnished to meet your every need. Among its array of amenities are a microwave and toaster for swift meal preparations, as well as both Keurig and Drip Coffee Makers complemented by starter packs of coffee pods, bulk coffee, sugar, and creamer, ensuring a delightful start to your mornings. For meal preparation and presentation, we provide cutting boards, plates, glassware, mugs, and a selection of knives, along with an assortment of pots, pans, and baking sheets to accommodate diverse cooking requirements. Additionally, a blender is at your disposal for crafting delectable beverages or culinary creations. Completing the experience, our dining area features a spacious table with seating for four, creating an inviting ambiance for enjoying meals with loved ones.

**GAMES**
For added entertainment and bonding experiences, we provide a selection of board games including Jenga and Rumikub. Enjoy quality time with friends and family during your stay with these fun-filled activities.

**OUTSIDE SPACE**
Sunset Peak Cottage resides on a secluded wooded lot, offering glimpses of the surrounding mountains during certain seasons and the soothing sound of the Ellijay River flowing in the valley below.

The cottage features an arbor-covered deck adorned with a relaxing hot tub and privacy curtains, providing an intimate setting for unwinding. Adjacent to the living room and primary bedroom, a screened porch offers a tranquil space to enjoy the natural surroundings. Below, a lower covered deck boasts a comfortable sectional sofa and two hammock chair swings, perfect for lounging and soaking in the serene atmosphere.

For cozy evenings under the stars, a fire pit is available, complete with four Adirondack chairs for gathering around and sharing stories. Parking accommodations are provided for up to two cars, ensuring convenience for guests exploring the area's attractions.

**FUR BABIES**
We warmly welcome guests with up to two dogs at Sunset Peak Cottage, understanding that pets are cherished members of the family. We kindly request that pet owners responsibly clean up after their furry companions and utilize the furniture cover provided when allowing them on the sofa. Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate cats at this time. For your convenience, we offer dog bowls and a furniture cover to ensure your pet's comfort during your stay.

**RIVER BEND NEIGHBORHOOD**
Start your journey to relaxation as you enter our tranquil retreat, following the gently winding gravel drive through the picturesque valley and over our charming covered bridge. Our community comprises both permanent residents and vacation homes, and we kindly request that all guests observe the 15 mph speed limit while navigating the narrow mountain roads, ensuring safety for all. Rest assured, 4x4 vehicles are not necessary for accessing our property.

Guest Access:
Guest have access to all parts of the property except the locked owners closet.

The Neighborhood:
River Bend is a charming neighborhood of log cabins a short drive from Atlanta right off of Hwy 515 centrally located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge which are both just 15 min away. It’s a quiet, walkable community with a mix of full-time residents and vacationers and you are sure to see plenty of wildlife, especially at dusk and dawn.
